anyone dig this music... techno/house/trance/drum'n'bass/electro
illegal parties and such
I know most of you prefer hard rock and such... but hey, I was in death metal band before.... played bass guitar and screamed in mic
any crossovers here too?

I hate "raves" as a whole, but I love many kinds of synth.
I like any music with fast intensity.
EBM, Thrash, Hardcore, Metal, Trance, etc, etc, etc...
One of the coolest crossover bands, is Atari Teenage Riot.
Thrash/Hardcore Techno.
They have a cool duet with Slayer.
Hahaha!
ATR and their "Digital Hardcore" always been a fan though their second album was a less ambitious than their first...both are good for a variety of reasons but it's hard to top their debut since it had a much harder lyrical punch. Good ole Alec Empire...hope he dreams up something similar in the future...lord knows we need it.Originally Posted by TheDeathKnight
I listen to some trance, but that's about it. Israeli trance is very good.
I love Heavy Metal too much. I can't get into that other even if I'm more than drunk.
anything real-
rock, and particularly metal made me who Iam, but I love some of just about everything.
synth is coolOriginally Posted by Ellis
you probably mean psychodelic trance... there is prety much of that here... but unfortunately illegal and mostly in warehouses and woods... (rave in woods with more than 1000 people is a great experience here)Originally Posted by Ichigo

Oh, I'm definetly a crossover. I like this experimental death metal/free jazz stuff. I'm struggling to try to get something in what I'm trying to do right now, with sort of a beebop thing, but it's hard. So, that's that.
Not a fan myself, I cant seem to enjoy that whole droning noise thing. I need a big heavy bass line, with out the synth. "Punks not dead, It just smells that way". and yet I'll love it till I die.
ive been in the LA rave scene since i was 14, i love electronica.... not too big on going to parties anymore, kind of over it, but it's still near and dear to my heart <3
i wonder how it looks there... and is it chased by cops like here?
electronica - good, electro clash - even bether
I was just in Seattle. I tell ya, if you are not white, or from out of the state of Washington, they hassle your ass bad! God, I fuckin' hate the cops! The song by Fishbone, "The Warmth of Your Breath" (it's sort of a crazy, black punk song) says it all for me. I apologize for being off topic, a bit, but for me that makes it hard to go to clubs, you know?Originally Posted by OliX
