i was quite fond of Unreal Tournament, until i uninstalled it while leaving the system files in place, upgraded my video card, upgraded to XP, re-installed it over the top of the previous install and - well, it looks a lot like the video displays transmitted by the cameras attached to the Marines' helmets in "Aliens".

i even got into UnrealEd - the level editor. it's a lot like carving tunnels out of a sandcastle and having little guys run around inside it, shooting at each other.

I dunno I love EverQuest 2, it's gorgeous and it's fun to play just to see the landscapes and all the details put into each.
