i ate rabbit for lunch... yumyum.. ;D
oddly enough I saw a couple rabbits yesterday and I was thinking that they'd be really hard to catch.
Okay, so I almost let out the flood gates of malicious talk, but I'm just going to go take a nap.

The Bunny's that you buy at stores are not going to be good to eat.. If you are going to eat them, you want to get them in the wild.

I have never tried rabbit, but I'd like to. I'm kind of into cooking, and love to try new things,so I'm open to stuff like that.
Also,I kind of have a mild vendetta against bunnies, because although I find them cute, whenever I get a wild hare (harharhar) up my ass to pick one up and pet it,it either a)Bites me
b)Scratches me
c)Poops on me
or d)All of the above
All and all I find them to be pretty useless creatures, cute yes,but useless...if I feel the need to spend time w/ a rabbit,it will either be to eat it or to use some other (dead) part of it for my comfort and or amusement..I am a bad person, sue me.
I'm very fond of rabbit, actually, It's a little gamey, but very, very tasty.
Voltaire, remind me to invite you over next Easter.. for the feast.
Mmmm... hasenpfeffer... good stuff.
Roasted, baked, braised and
rotisserie, you just can't go wrong.
Makes for excellent jerky, stews,
soups and the stock makes great
gravy.
Never have, but I would for sure.
i have had bunny but im not a big fan. wouldn't mine trying a spot of squirrel tho.
Eat all the squirrels you want.. I can't stand the little Hell-spawn

in general, we used to eat rabbits when my Dad was alive.
and now I'm no longer eating meats
Rabbit is only good if you know how to prepare it correctly. White wine butter sauce and now your cooking
When I was a child it was normal to see rabbits hung up awaiting customers outside the butcher's shop. To the best of my knowledge - pre my thirteenth birthday - I've never eaten rabbit, but I've heard that it is tasty. I also recall that Jenny Aguitta (sp?) skinned a rabbit on stage during a theatre piece she was in many years ago, a new rabbit each night. Bet they feasted on leftovers for weeks.
ya my gramp's had a farm ,and he had rabbits among other livestock, but my dad would go <and some i went along with him when i was younger and hunt hell spawns and rabbits all the time , but i don't think i could kill one now.. i don't like hunting any more .
i;ll leave that the the Elmer Fudd's out there..
So long as the animals are killed HUMANELY, game on.
But most slaughterhouse rabbit is skinned alive, and expires of shock from same, and I refuse to eat anything treated that evilly.
As for squirrel do NOT eat the little fuckers. They are rats with bushy tails and about as diseased.
not true.... I've eaten lots of rabbit, and one time I just fried it like I'd make fried chicken... It was awesome.Originally Posted by a_small_death
